Shinpiden Reiki Level 3
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive technique for stress reduction and relaxation which may help the body to heal itself. It is primarily a practice for self-development and self-healing, but practitioners are able to help others by stimulating the others ability for self-healing.
Deepen your experience and knowledge of Reiki for the benefit of yourself and others. When you study at the Shinpiden level of the system of Reiki you can teach others how to access the benefits of Reiki practice.
Thank you for the ongoing support you offer, it makes a huge difference to me that I can link into a group and am not trying to plough on on my own. P R, Downe
I have received both treatments and training from Louise. She is a very thoughtful practitioner and teacher. I found her extremely patient and nurturing and have gained a huge amount of insight in my own life from working with her and receiving Reiki treatments. I would highly recommend her. V. R, West Wickham
Reiki originated in Japan in the early 20th century with the work of Mikao Usui. He taught his technique to others and it found its way to the USA before the Second World War. The majority of practitioners in the West use the methods that spread from the US during the 1970s. During the late 1990s many Western Reiki practitioners began to research the origins of Reiki in Japan and this has led to the incorporation of more traditional Japanese techniques into their repertoire. I have studied both Western (Usui Shiki Ryoho) and Japanese (Usui Reiki Ryoho) methods, but I teach traditional Japanese techniques.
My Shinpiden course is designed as a rolling programme which will take most people a minimum of 9 months to complete. There will be monthly tutorials at which a specific topic is introduced and students will then do further reading and research on their own. I believe that the term ‘Reiki Master’ is hugely devalued by the fact that you can take a very short training and call yourself a ‘Master’ despite knowing very little about the system of Reiki or it’s history and development and have done little practise under supervision.
To complete the course, students will attend all 9 tutorials, undertake private study and complete some assignments. The tutorial topics will be
- Introduction and Orientation
- History of Reiki and Historical/Cultural Context
- Development of different branches and styles of the system of Reiki
- The Reiki Precepts
- Hands On Healing
- Meditations and Techniques
- Symbols and Mantras
- Attunements and Reiju
- Teaching Others/Professional Practice
There will be ongoing support between tutorials and bonus training via the internet.
This course is for self-development as well as for those who may wish to use Reiki as a professional practitioner/teacher.If you have previously studied with another teacher you may be able to join the course at this level, but will require a discussion on what you have covered.
Courses run over 9 monthly modules (2½ hours per session) and include manuals and certificate.
Small group teaching (max 6) £485 per person or 5x £97
