Shoden Reiki Level 1
Do you feel stressed or anxious ?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive technique for stress reduction and relaxation which may help the body to heal itself. It is primarily a practice for self-development and self-healing, but practitioners are able to help others by stimulating the others’ ability for self-healing.
Testimonials
‘I have just completed my Reiki level 1 and it is one of the best things I have done in my life so far. Not only has it balanced me out, but the peace I have found within myself is something I thought I would never have .Life is so busy these days that we don’t have the time to sit and just be, and even when we have we don’t know how. Thanks to Louise my life is in the process of changing completely and that means everybody around me is benefiting from it. I now see things clearer and take time just for me. I can’t wait to start my level 2 and I can’t think of a better teacher to learn from, the course is not fast and furious there is time taken to discuss what we have learnt and a genuine interest is taken in the students I highly recommend this course to anybody that wants more out of life for themselves as it not only changes your life but your whole way of thinking’. ‘I just wanted to say again how great I found your first Reiki 1 course and I can honestly say that I loved it. I found that 6 weeks was about the right amount of time and I am so glad that I did not learn this over a weekend like some people do. I found the lessons very relaxed and I felt totally at ease right from the start. ‘ Y.H. West Wickham
‘I really enjoyed the course. It has certainly helped me to relax and become a calmer person in my everyday life.’ B.P. West Wickham
Reiki originated in Japan in the early 20th century with the work of Mikao Usui. He taught his technique to others and it found its way to the USA before the Second World War. The majority of practitioners in the West use the methods that spread from the US during the 1970s. During the late 1990s many Western Reiki practitioners began to research the origins of Reiki in Japan and this has led to the incorporation of more traditional Japanese techniques into their repertoire. I have studied both Western (Usui Shiki Ryoho) and Japanese (Usui Reiki Ryoho) methods, but I teach traditional Japanese techniques.
I am a registered Teacher/Practitioner member of The Reiki Guild (formerly the Reiki Healers and Teachers Society).
